University of Colorado Diploma

Online programs at CU Denver and CU Anschutz use the same application, admissions and enrollment system as on campus programs. Which means online students receive the same degree - and diploma - as students that complete a program on campus. Having the same CU quality instructors that teach online courses also ensures that you receive the same quality and depth of instruction.

Great Technology = Freedom to Learn

Our online courses are delivered using Canvas, a Learning Management System (LMS), that will keep you organized and allow you to collaborate easily with your instructors and classmates. Canvas is available via an internet connection and displays on most devices. This allows access to your course material, assignments, lectures, and quizzes anywhere in the world at any time!

Your Degree on Your Schedule

Asynchronous courses provide you with the flexibility needed to balance academics along with your personal and professional responsibilities. You can access courses on your time and are not required to be in front of your computer at a certain day and time. Complete online courses at your own pace and on your own schedule.

*Note: Some programs may require synchronous meetings.

Is Online Right for You?

Are you a working professional? A parent? A military veteran? A first-time college student? A transfer student? A graduate student? An international student? If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, then online may be right for you!

Many students we talk with are afraid of taking online classes because they think they will feel alone and disconnected from their fellow students and instructors. Our online students are from diverse backgrounds, but have a common goal: earning a quality education. CU Online provides a variety of tools to make online learning fun, collaborative, and available to everyone!

Don't take our word for it though, hear from our online students in this video.
