CU Online, Tuition and Fees

Tuition:
As a high-quality institution of higher learning, CU-Denver's tuition rates are quite reasonable. This, along with a wide assortment of financial assistance programs, makes a top-notch education more affordable than you ever thought. In fact, more than $30 million in financial assistance is awarded to CU-Denver students every year.

Students taking online or hybrid courses pay the same tuition as all CU Denver students with the exception of Out-of-State students who pay our Special Discounted Tuition Rate.

Online Course Fees:

All students pay a course fee for each online or hybrid course taken:

A $100.00 online course fee will be assessed for each online course.
A $50 course fee will be assessed for each hybrid course.
A $50 online lab fee will be assessed for each online lab.

This fee allows CU Online to provide the necessary technology and services to generate high student satisfaction and maintain the same high quality standards expected from the university's traditional classes. These services include 24/7 support, industry leading course management systems such as eCollege and Blackboard, and continued development of the largest and fastest growing online degree, certificate and professional programs in the country. When you factor in the value of your time, online courses and programs become an even better investment. You remove the need to spend time commuting to campus, paying parking fees, and sitting in traffic.

Student Fees:
Students taking online or hybrid courses pay the same Student Fees as all CU Denver students unless you meet the circumstances explained below, in which case you won't be responsible for fees you likely wouldn't use. See Bursar's website for current Fee amounts & descriptions

You are enrolled in ONLY online courses
