CU Online is looking for a part time Application Development Intern to work with other full time ATEL developers, to assist in building and maintaining several internally coded applications.
This is a great opportunity for someone interested in building valuable skills and experience using Microsoft .NET and SQL Server technologies. CU Online fosters a supportive mentoring environment that allows interns to apply their education to real world solutions while building valuable experience for their future. This position will be primarily responsible for coding but will be exposed to all aspects of the application development process including analysis, architecture planning, coding, documenting and testing.
Qualifications
The candidate should be pursuing a degree in Information Technology, or in a reasonably related field looking to build their OOP coding skills in a real world environment.
The ideal candidate will also possess a basic understanding of OOP concepts, familiarity with C#.NET and/or VB.NET (PHP, Java or C++ experience with a desire to learn .NET is an acceptable alternative), basic understanding of relational database design/SQL, and a strong desire to learn and apply their educational foundation to new technologies.
Experience with Visual Studio 2005 or similar IDE and SQL Server or other RDBMS is a plus but not required.
