2002 - Making Technology Work for You
     
Join CU Online and your colleagues here at UCD for the first annual CU Online Spring Symposium for those designing, planning, and delivering courses via technology.

The theme for our inaugural year is Making Technology Work for You, which focuses on the use of current multimedia, Internet technologies and methods and their effectiveness in technology driven courses, programs, and education.

The symposium will consist of three panels, one session, and two Hands-on Labs to help get you in gear by providing insightful information and practical applications.

  • Technology Help and Resources for UCD Faculty
  • Student Panel focusing on "What Students Think Makes a Good Course"

Session: On the Horizon: Emerging Uses of Technology in Online Instruction

  • Closing the On-line Lecture Gap With Digital Audio and Video
  • Planned upgrades to Blackboard and eCollege courseware
Hands-on Labs
  • Improving your Course with Digital Audio & Video
  • Online Assessment in Blackboard and eCollege courseware

Who:

UCD Faculty interested in delivering courses with technology.

*Non UCD faculty will be assessed a $25 admission fee and can attend Hands-on labs as space permits.

What:
Learn to make technology work for you by attending CU Online's Spring Symposium.
