Program Description:
If your goal is to advance your ability to implement
policy or manage government and nonprofit organizations,
the MPA degree can help you accomplish it with 36 semester
hours of coursework. The curriculum is built upon core
courses that develop essential problem-solving and decision-making
skills. Organizational Management & Change, Economics
& Public Finance, Democracy & Policy Making, and
Information & Analytic Methods are just some of the
courses that offer first-hand opportunities to study the
important issues of public affairs. The required curriculum
will help you hone your skills in management and analysis,
but you may gain specific insights into your area of interest
by pursuing one of three concentrations available to students.
Each is designed to equip students with the management
and analysis skills demanded of managers in challenging
public affairs positions.
Admission Requirements:
A baccalaureate degree from a college or university
of accredited standing, preferably with a minimum grade-point
