The UCD School of Public Affairs is actually the only accredited school of public affairs offering graduate programs in Colorado. As an UCD Graduate
As a graduate of the MPA program, you’ll be able to:
- Make use of a broad base of knowledge and research in public and nonprofit administration and policy analysis.
- Communicate effectively in written and oral forms.
- Apply critical thinking skills to solve problems in a constructive manner.
Program Requirements
You must complete a minimum of 36 semester credit hours of graduate course work, excluding preparatory workshops, with a grade point average of a ‘B’ or better.
- Only six credit hours of independent study applies toward the degree.

If you've not had work experience in the public or nonprofit sectors, you must complete a 3 credit internship (giving you 39 total credit hours).
