The University of Colorado Denver, College of Nursing offers a Master of Science program with an Informatics option in nursing designed to prepare you for advanced nurse practice roles. You'll be prepared to promote health with clients experiencing wellness, acute or chronic illness through:
- Formulate clinical
- Administrative
- Policy decisions
In this interdisciplinary Informatics program, you'll be prepared in advanced nurse practice roles to integrate relevant knowledge from nursing and other disciplines in their practice and participate in interdisciplinary relationships to create or influence the health care environment.

Program Requirements
The program is structured to provide a foundation for career paths for future leaders in advanced nursing practice and to prepare lifelong learners who demonstrate knowledge, skill, critical thinking and flexibility. This program also provides the foundation for doctoral study in nursing.
The entire degree is comprised of 34 credits, all of which are available online.

- 13 credits from Informatics core courses
- 9 credits from Health Care Informatics Specialty
